The Last Women
‘The Last Women’ was a creative response to the myth of the Sumerian goddess, Inanna’s descent into the underworld, woven with stories of execution through history. I began the work on it in 2006 and it was completed in April 2009 when it was presented in Coventry along with an exhibition called ‘The Hour of Death’.
Dr Norwood Andrews, Roberta Carreri, Joanna Foster, a team of young actors in training and a troupe of professional actors helped me create this work.
