The Last Women
‘The Last Women’ was a creative response to the myth of the Sumerian goddess, Inanna’s descent into the underworld, woven with stories of execution through history. I began the work on it in 2006 and it was completed in April 2009 when it was presented in Coventry along with an exhibition called ‘The Hour of Death’.
