I have lived in the North West for seven years now so I feel part of the landscape and the furniture. Here’s a Christmas greeting and a meditation on being in the north with a musical reflection that nods to the south west with fond memories of the 1970s and a gorgeous song from Decameron. I am not sure when the song was written, I think it was later than that but, whatever, I love it because it captures the essence of edges and movement. Something going on here about forwards and backwards on the line that is north west/south west – a sort of impossibility unless you make an angle. I hope you can stay with it till the end.
