Culture on the Periphery is a public engagement event which examines the policy and practice challenges for social and cultural infrastructure and placemaking in places often left-behind outside core cities. Carran Waterfield is a panel member.
This early evening event is in Manchester’s Central Library on 6th November between 5.30 and 7.30pm (refreshments included). It will include a hybrid discussion panel with community partners and practitioners from across the North, spoken performance by Antony Rowland and the premiere of two short films by Simon Buckley, Not Quite Light on cultural placemaking initiatives and aspirations. It is part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science Manchester 2024.
